The purpose of the Public Works Department is to promote and oversee the construction and maintenance of the Village's infrastructure, deliver quality public works services that enhance the living and working environment of our community.

All Public Works projects are planned and coordinated through the office's staff and personnel. The planning process involves all aspects of the Public Works Department. It involves itself in a broad array of activities that involves coordinated reviews, approval, conduct and inspection of the following areas.

  • Equipment and Staffing
  • Utility Upgrades
  • Recreational Facilities
  • Infrastructure
  • Subdivision Development

2014 SPRING YARD WASTE COLLECTION PROGRAM

Village residents may drop off Yard Waste items at Public Works which include grass clippings, leaves, sticks and twigs.
  • Saturday, April 5, 2014 - 8 am to 3 pm at the Public Works Garage
  • Saturday, April 26, 2014- 8 am to 3 pm at the Public Works Garage
 
2014 FALL YARD WASTE COLLECTION PROGRAM

Village residents may drop off Yard Waste items at Public Works which include grass clippings, leaves, sticks and twigs.
  • Saturday, November 15, 2014 - 8 am to 3 pm at the Public Works Garage
  • Saturday, December 6, 2014 - 8 am to 3 pm at the Public Works Garage
 
SPRING LARGE ITEM PICKUP

The large item pick up will be completed on each resident's normal trash collection day.
  • The week of April 21 - April 25, 2014
 
FALL LARGE ITEM PICKUP

The large item pick up will be completed on each resident's normal trash collection day.
  • The week of September 22 - September 26, 2014
 
ANNUAL FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING PROGRAM

Village Wide per schedule Monday, April 1st through Friday, April 5th.

 
MOSQUITO ABATEMENT PROGRAM

Fogging operations will take approximately three evenings to complete during the hours of 8:30 pm till midnight, pending weather conditions. The program will be performed by licensed Village personnel on 30 day cycles, as needed.
