Old Troy/Bouse Road Update – October 16, 2019
Keller Construction will be on site in the early morning hours tomorrow to saw cut the pavement that was poured today. Due to the cooler temperatures, the window to cut the relief joints has to be pushed back from previous pours on the project. The exact schedule is uncertain as saw cutting cannot begin before the concrete is cured enough, nor can we risk uncontrolled cracking from waiting too long. However, at this time we are anticipating the following:
Somewhere between 3 & 4 AM our saw crew will be on site starting on the East end of the pour.
PLEASE NOTE: If the pavement is ready to saw earlier than 3 or 4AM, we will have to start earlier because we cannot risk random cracking and relief of the joints. If it isn’t ready by 4AM we will continue to monitor it until it is ready.
